The Crown Inn Kemerton

At the foot of Bredon Hill, very much at the heart of the village of Kemerton is The Crown Inn. New owners Bill and Diana Herford hope people will come to eat good food and drink good wine! The Herford's have welcomed guests to nearby Upper Court for 40 years and since reopening in November 2012 have already succeeded in giving The Crown a friendly, relaxed feel.Four new ensuite bedrooms (sleep up to 11) are dressed with country house style antiques and vintage furnishings. Three doubles, one with an extra single bed, and one family room with a double and two singles. In the bar, wines are sourced directly from France, Italy and Spain with an excellent selection from Chile, South Africa and NZ. Rotating local brewery ales include Prescott Ales and Goff's Brewery with Wye Valley's Butty Bach a regular alongside a Kemerton cider brewed by the acclaimed Minchew's. For dinner our ever changing menu reflects the seasons with fresh seafood delivered daily and locally sourced food and home grown vegetables whenever possible. Sunday roast from Meadow's Farm in the neighbouring village is not to be missed!

Directions

From M5 J9, turn east onto A46 (signposted to Evesham). Follow for 2 miles, past Army Depot on left and turn left at cross roads, signposted Kemerton. Follow for 1 mile and turn right to Kemerton. Turn right at the end into Kemerton village and the Crown Inn is on your right, next to the village shop.
